Always treat your jewelry with love and care.
Remember that jewelry is delicate. Please be gentle with your jewelry, but if anything ever happens to your jewelry please message me and I will always do my best to work with you to come up with a solution.
Please remember to keep in mind, colors of stones and beads may differ from device to device.
How to make your jewelry last (almost) forever:
Never sleep while wearing your jewelry
Your jewelry and water are not friends! Try to avoid keeping jewelry around water. Please don't bathe or swim in jewelry and try to remove before washing hands.
Use sprays & perfumes before putting on jewelry.
Try to avoid massive sweating while wearing your jewelry. (Don't wear it to the gym)
It is recommended to keep your jewelry in an air tight bag (like the plastic bag you get your jewelry in!) while not wearing it to keep it from tarnishing in the air.
Keep your jewelry secure. Store your jewelry in a jewelry box or other secure container that will prevent your baubles from moving around. You can also store your jewelry in a silk or velvet pouch and put each pouch in a decorative shoe box.
Your jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off for the day.
With love and care, your jewelry will last much longer♡
A note about gold-filled metals - In the United States, the quality of gold filled is defined by the Federal Trade Commission. If the gold layer is 10 kt fineness the minimum layer of karat gold in an item stamped GF must equal at least 1/10 the weight of the total item. If the gold layer is 12 kt or higher the minimum layer of karat gold in an item stamped GF must equal at least 1/20 the weight of the total item.
The FTC does not regulate gold plated stuff, so - the gold layer on gold-plated jewelry varies greatly depending on manufacturer, so there is no single, simple comparison. Gold-filled items are NECESSARILY 50 to 100,000 times thicker than gold plating of the same karat. (It is even thinner on the 24k gold plated things!!!)
Gold filled items are expected to last around 20 to 30 years before they wear through - even with daily/ everyday wear.
